Commercial Production for Bakertilly
Commissioned by Baker Tilly, via Zandbeek, we brought a rally scene to life, featuring the driver and navigator as central figures. The concept mirrored the dynamics of entrepreneurship: the navigator guides the driver—a metaphor for the entrepreneur—to skillfully navigate the rugged landscape of challenges with preparation and confidence.
Virtual Production proved to be the only viable solution to tell this story convincingly. It allowed us to create a realistic and immersive environment while staying within budget and avoiding logistical hurdles, such as complex on-location shoots.

The production began with a storyboard and pre-visualization in Unreal Engine, enabling precise planning of camera angles, lighting, and interactions within the rally car. The virtual forest landscape was created using procedural content generation, requiring only a small section of the road to be manually designed. Rules applied to assets like trees, bushes, and road markings enabled automatic placement along a generated route spanning several kilometers, perfectly complementing the interior shots.
In the Eindhoven studio, we set up an LED volume, complete with DMX-controlled lighting, to emphasize the speed and energy of the scene. During the shoot, the focus was on the collaboration between driver and navigator, supported by realistic camera movements and shock effects, ensuring an authentic and dynamic result.
